Get it Straight

Today started off alright. I'm still worried about that B+ in geometry, though. I hope that after she adds everything up, I'll at least get a 90.99% which will eventually round up to 91% and get me an A-. Today, we got to see how we did on that Chapter 3 test. I did pretty well.. my teacher told me to keep up the good work. I got a 45/51, that's like a B. She counted off some points because I didn't label the figure all the way. BAH. At least, I did better than most people. 1st Quarter grades are coming up soon ! I'm worried. I was told that in an Honors class, a B is equivalent to an A in a regular class. So if I got all B's in all of my classes, I'd still get a 4.0. But I want to aim for that 5.0. ;]

(12 hours later - overexaggerated)

So like, there's been a lot on my mind lately. I feel like writing a post about them, but I keep putting off homework so I don't get the chance to. I wish I was more organized. Really.

I just reminded myself about SB's letter..

&that just reminded me of the letter I still have yet to make for Perla. I hope she comes back..

Hear me grunt.... I mean, roar.

Yesterday, we just turned in our project for goemtry. Today, we received another project. It's just project after project after project. It's stressful.. I'm tired of procrastinating. Seriously. Haha. To be honest, projects seem fun though. Some anyway.

M'kay.. on with the concept of this post. (:

I ran the mile today! Woohoo! I have P.E. first period. It's not as bad as it sounds, haha. The advantage of the cool weather is great, except I'm not sure how it'll be once Winter comes in. About that mile. I'm proud of what I accomplished. My P.E. teacher made the girls do the mile first, because the boys went first the previous time. Off we went around the track, and it amazes me how much stamina I have. The passing time for girls when running the mile is 11 minutes, and over all I ran it in 9 minutes and 42 seconds. Oh yes. My teacher said I was doing incredibly well. (:

In Spanish class, it was our cultural day. Everyone had to bring something to eat or drink, something from their culture. If you didn't, you wouldn't get credit for the day. My mom made turons, 50 of them. By the end of 2nd period, only 12 were left. Good thing it was Nutrition Break, my friends ate it all. Haha. Thank you, friends<3 style="font-style: italic;">The Cask of Amontillado
by Edgar Allan Poe. The setting dates back in the 1700s, so the language was odd at first but we eventually went into depth. The story was odd, I wish it had more detail though. It had a sad ending. You should read it. ..No, not really. Haha.

ASB class. Today, everyone had to bring pictures for ASB passes (?) but no one gave Allyson a picture yet, so she changed the due date to Tuesday. I was freaking out first period because I forgot the picture, haha. "By any odd reason, would you have a picture of me right now?" I asked a couple of people that, hoping that they would. They didn't. Haha. What good picture is there to put on an ID? Bleh.

Today there was a Keyclub meeting during lunch. We have one every Friday. It turns out we're not going to the Fall Rally, after all. Darn. I guess I'll settle for Homecoming then? Fall Rally and Homecoming were on the same day. Saturday. I'm not sure if I can even go to Homecoming. I don't have many dresses. Ah, well.

I want to improve my grade in geometry. Currently, I have a B+. Why?! My percentage is between 88%-89% in that class.. I want at least an A-. Good thing I got an A on the Construction Book project. I didn't like that poetry project... basically everyone got a 75/100. What the heck, maan? At the least, I'm not the only one who got that grade. Today, we changed seats. I like it so far.. we actually get our work done faster. Sal's pretty cool. He's in my English class, too. Today, I also found out that his full name was Salvador. Hahah. asdjlk. I have to read about our new project.. the good thing about it is that it's a group project. I will not procrastinate! Procrastination BAD!

As for science, I really need to keep up with my reading logs. I'm always behind.. I never really have time for them. The movie we watched today Fatman and Little Boy was gross. This one scientist came too close to this nuclear thing... and he was ... ahhhh.. I can't think of the right word. OH WAIT. Exposed. And he was exposed to too much radiation. There we go. Haha. One week later, the insides of his body were melting. He had so much radiation in him that the clock near him was glowing. His hand was swollen, because he touched the nuclear.. thing. I wish my vocabulary terms were better. The movie was interesting, I felt bad about what happened to the guy though..

I bought a fruity pop from the vending machines today. Mango flavor, yum. I came home at the same time my dad did. I tried telling him something, but he didn't mind it. So it was like whatever.. I hate how he sometimes puts us on mute, as if we aren't speaking to him. Like wtf, do we not exist or something? Later on though, I got to tell him what I wanted to say. I just wanted to share about the mile run this morning. The reaction I got was way off from what I expected. No "Good job, anak" or "That's good." Wake up at 5 tomorrow morning, and we'll run around. Okay?" WOAH, there. Why? " Did you just want to challenge me?" "No, I haven't gone running in a while. Do you think can do that? Wake up at 5?" "Uhm... I don't know." Sheeee**t, dude. This also brings up what happened yesterday. I showed him the RAIDER OF THE WEEK shirt I got from the office. He asks me why I got it. I tell him that one of my teachers nominated me to become a Raider of the week. He asks me what I'll benefit from it. I give him my opinion. (I forgot what I said). He asks me what my accomplishment was for getting this reward. I tell him my thoughts about it. Then he keeps asking me pointless questions.. so I just snapped. "Just tell me you're not proud, okay?" He was irritating me. It's like.. whatever I do, he's never satisfied. He's told me stories about how HE was number 1 at his school, about how he got 100 in mostly all of his tests/quizzes, about how all of his classmates wanted him to say the speeches, about how his teachers were impressed by his knowledge. Well.. I'm sorry I can't be like you, okay? Please stop belittling the things I've done in my life. Why don't you say Good job nowadays? I feel like mom's the only one that cares. She's the only one that notices, the only one who gives me a thumbs up and tells me to keep going. ..Wtf? Hxll no. I don't want to cry about this. I feel like I don't appreciate her enough. I've nearly lost her twice already.. and it's almost the end of the year. Please, God.. don't let this be the third time in a row that she'll be rushed to the hospital. I won't have Bubba's mom to cry on... asdjkl. I shouldn't be thinking about that. I wish I could say more, I feel like I haven't said enough. Now I can understand why my mom tells me that dad's the reason why she feels bad inside all of the time. But I can't get into that, it's too personal of a matter.

Look on the brighter side of things, sweety.. They just WANT to bring you down. Keep your head up high.
I miss Tuyen's comforting words.

Want to know what made my day? EJ's letter did. I loved his drawing on the bottom right, it was cute. (:
I printed it out so it could be with me, so that I'll be able to read it whenever. <3
